England Under21 coach, Stuart Pearce has become the latest to get the blame for Victor Moses' decision to dump the Three Lions for Nigeria's Super Eagles.
Pearce has been blamed by former Crystal Palace chairman and owner, Simon Jordan, according to the Daily Mail.
Jordan, a technology maestro who made around £40 million at the age of 36, believes Pearce did not do enough to convince Moses he had a future with England after getting a handful of caps at Under21 level.
"Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan, who oversaw Moses’s development at Selhurst Park, says the often taciturn Pearce should have done more to make the 21-year-old welcome during his time with his England side," the Daily Mail's report stated late on Tuesday.
According to the Daily Mail, Jordan was so sure of an international future for Moses with the Three Lions that he even took out a £50,000 bet with ex-Arsenal player, Paul Merson that the youngster will win more England appearances than Merson.
The British newspaper also stated that the England FA has rose to the defence of its Under21 manager, Pearce that everything was done to ensure that the Chelsea forward remained in the Three Lions structure.
Earlier this month, Wigan Athletic manager, Roberto Martinez had put the blame on the door on the doorstep of former England manager, Fabio Capello.
"His experience with the Under21s was frustrating for him, and for us, because, from our point of view, we could see he was something special. He offers something very different," Martinez, who knew Moses was close quarters, said.
Another manager, Neil Warnock also took a swipe at The FA for allowing Moses slip out of its hands.
Only recently, assistant to Three Lions' manager, Gary Neville, blamed England's football system for developing young players at junior level and lose them before they have the chance to play for the seniors.
Moses alongside Newcastle United forward, Shola Ameobi was cleared by Fifa to play for Nigeria in November 2011.
The 21-year-old made his debut for the Super Eagles as a substitute against Rwanda in a 2013 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying in Kigali on February 29 this year.
He scored his first goals for Nigeria in their 6-1 win over Liberia in Calabar in a 2013 Afcon qualifying in October.
The Chelsea man is now in line to appear in his first major championship for Nigeria when the Afcon gets underway in South Africa in January.
